I wonder has Ken got an Order of Australia? He bloody should have one, there aren't any artists that show Sydney in the same way, with the same love. The great thing about this work is that it makes you think about so much more when you look at it. We did a series called Long Weekends and we went to Copenhagen and I insisted that we go to this Utzon church just outside, and it's just so good. He's a bit like Ken, he brings things down to the most simple points and everybody just gets it. When you think about Utzon's design for the Opera House, which now seems very contemporary and everybody loves, but at the time was very controversial and he never came back to Australia and there's maybe another parallel there with Ken's work. I did a live cooking show at the Opera House once, and it was such a highlight, I just love all the concrete and the materials that he used, it's so much of it's time, all the doors and the tiles are just beautiful. It's almost as if Ken and this image sound off each other, it's such a classic shape and I love the different ways Ken looks at it.
