In 1988, in partnership with the Mosman Council Ken created the Mosman Youth Art Prize. The aim of the annual prize was to encourage young people from Mosman and Australia in all artistic fields to enter and showcase their work.
This year the highly successful Mosman Youth Art Prize celebrates it’s 30th Anniversary so naturally Ken was invited to be a special judge.
“When I first arrived at the gallery to start the judging I thought that I must have been seeing pictures left over from the Artists of Mosman exhibition. In other words, the paintings seemed mature and professional. Only then did I realize that I was looking at some of the entries in this year’s youth art prize.” Ken Done 2018
