The last time Ken Done was involed with The Social Studio was through Jackie Ruddock's 'What Ken be Done?' project. As Sydney's partner organisation, The Social Outfit, prepares to open its doors, CEO Jackie invited Ken and a dream team of Aussie fashion talent to collaborate on a very special project.
This project was 'Colour Chameleon', a collaborative fashion initiative aiming to raise support and funding for their work providing people from refugee and underprivilegded backgrounds real working opportunities in Australia. Together with a dream team of fashion talent including Linda Jackson, Nina Maya and Celia Morris of Dragstar, Ken was asked to create a unique textile print for an vibrant collection that graced the runway at their launch in Sydney on October 18th.
We look forward to the success of The Social Outfit in the future!
