Ken first visited Antarctica with Chimu Adventures in 2015, on a trip supporting the McGrath Foundation and Mawson's Huts. Now his artwork has made its way back there ... on a series of tractors!

The five vehicles are designed not only to withstand the harsh conditions, but also to give the scientists working at the Australian Antarctic Division a little taste of home - not to mention making them easy to spot in the ice and snow ...

The team from the Australian Antarctic Program are on a mission to drill an ice core containing a million-year climate record. This group of tractors will tow a mobile research station and equipment thousands of kilometres across the Antarctic ice.

You can see how the tractors have been transformed here or read more about other fascinating Antarctic Program science stories.
